The Faculty of Medicine atEl Sheikh Abdallah AEl Badri University honors the outstanding participants in the Bio Geniuses Competition for Batch 7B. The Department of Biochemistry at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery – Sheikh Abdullah Al-Badri University organized the Bio Geniuses Competition for the students of Batch 7B, in the presence and honor of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Omar Al-Tayeb, the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mosaddaq Qareeb Allah Al-Badri, the Head of the Biochemistry Department, Dr. Sarah Ali, the Head of the Community Medicine Department, Dr. Murtada Osman, Professor Aru, the coordinator from Ahfad University, and the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Professor Al-Hadi Mohieddin, in addition to members of the college council, faculty staff, representatives of various colleges, and the university administration. The program included a variety of segments, featuring scientific competitions, cultural and awareness activities, the “Pink October” segment for breast cancer awareness, as well as honoring the winners and top achievers in Biochemistry, all amid an enthusiastic atmosphere reflecting the spirit of competition and scientific excellence. In her speech, Dr. Sarah Ali, Head of the Biochemistry Department, emphasized that the competition aims to link theoretical knowledge with practical application and to develop students’ scientific research skills. Dr. Omar Al-Tayeb, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, delivered a speech stressing the importance of integrating scientific competitions into educational and practical activities, explaining that these initiatives enhance students’ scientific abilities and prepare them to face future medical challenges efficiently and creatively. Dr. Mosaddaq Qareeb Allah Al-Badri, Dean of Student Affairs, also spoke, affirming that extracurricular activities represent a fundamental pillar for shaping the student’s personality and developing leadership and teamwork skills, alongside supporting the spirit of innovation and fair competition among students. Participating students expressed their happiness with the initiative, affirming that such events motivate them to be creative, provide them the opportunity to apply what they have learned theoretically in practice, and strengthen the spirit of cooperation and teamwork among them. In conclusion, Dr. Fania Abdullah Al-Badri, University Director, congratulated the outstanding students, praising their efforts and determination to achieve scientific excellence, and confirmed that the university will continue to support initiatives and activities that promote research and creativity, encouraging students to reach the highest levels of academic and professional achievement.
