Students of the Faculty of Medical Laboratories at the university achieve a global accomplishment by publishing a study on combating malaria using henna plant extract In a global scientific achievement reflecting the excellence of the students of ElSheikh Abdallah El-Badri University in the field of health sciences and applied research, a research paper titled: “In Vitro Antimalarial Effect of Henna Plant (Lawsonia inermis) Extract Against Plasmodium Parasite Species” was published in the international scientific journal Cohesive Journal of Microbiology & Infectious Disease (CJMI), issued by the American publishing house Crimson Publishers, registered with the international standard number ISSN: 2578-0190. 🔗 Journal link: https://share.google/lPvV0D5a67QimmSIr The study aims to investigate the biological efficacy of henna plant extract in combating malaria parasites, a disease endemic to tropical areas, and to explore the therapeutic potential of local medicinal plants as a natural alternative source to chemical drugs. The research was prepared by a group of students from the Faculty of Medical Laboratories, namely: Hayat Khalifa Hassan Muhannad Hassan Al-Hajndi Amir Youssef Naima Youssef Hussein Nihal Mohammed Mokhtar Shaimaa Mohammed Awad Saber Ali Babkir Wafaq Al-Hadi Mohammed Under the supervision of: Dr. Hisham Abdel Hamid Dr. Musab Nour Eldin The supervisors praised the outstanding efforts of the students, stressing that this international publication is the result of rigorous scientific methodology and the strong support provided by the university in the field of modern laboratories and research labs, which enabled the students to achieve scientifically valuable results with high practical application. The university administration confirmed that this achievement comes as part of its continuous efforts to enhance the environment of innovation and research excellence, and to encourage students to contribute to the production of scientific knowledge serving human and community health, thus consolidating the university’s status as a leading academic institution in the field of education and scientific research inside Sudan and beyond.
