“Ruhama Baynahum Charity at the University” Organizes a Free Medical Convoy to West Berber, Khalawi, Al Faki Ali, and Al-Halfah West Berber – The Ruhmaa Baynahum Charity organization at the university organized a humanitarian medical convoy to the West Berber – Al-Halfah area, aiming to support healthcare services in the local community and provide direct medical treatment in several specialties, with the participation of a select group of doctors and consultants, alongside students from health faculties. The convoy was warmly welcomed and highly appreciated by the local residents, who expressed their deep gratitude for this noble initiative. The area is distinguished by hosting a number of Quran memorization schools (Khalawi) and students of knowledge, reflecting the deep spiritual and cultural dimension of the local community. Services Provided by Specialty: Internal Medicine: 289 cases were received and treated, including hypertension, diabetes, and digestive system diseases, in addition to providing medical consultations and advice. Ophthalmology: The number of beneficiaries reached 301 cases, during which clinical examinations were conducted, treatments dispensed, and eyeglasses distributed. Dentistry: 158 patients were treated with services including cleaning, fillings, and tooth extractions. Obstetrics and Gynecology: Care was provided for 83 cases, including pregnancy follow-up, routine check-ups, and health guidance. Pediatrics: 107 children were examined, with vaccinations and treatments provided for seasonal diseases and common conditions.

This convoy is part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to strengthen community partnerships, raise health awareness, and achieve a tangible impact in improving the quality of life for vulnerable groups in remote areas.

In conclusion, the Ruhama Baynahum Charity Organization extends its thanks and appreciation to the esteemed University vice chancellor, Dr. Fania Abdullah Al-Badri, for her continuous support and provision of the facilities that enabled the convoy to perform its humanitarian missions to the fullest extent.
