The University awards the following Bachelor degrees
- Faculty of Medicine
It awards the Bachelor degree in Medicine & Surgery in five years-11 semesters based on the following criteria :
–Obtaining of the Sudan Secondary School Certificate with pass or any other equivalent certificate.
–Fulfilment of the general admission requirements and a percentage out of seven subjects including : Arabic language, Religion, English language, Additional Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Faculty of Pharmacy
The faculty awards the Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy with honours (11 semesters within 5 years ), in one of the following specializations:
– Medicinal drugs.
–Pharmaceuticals.
–Therapeutics Chemistry .
–Microbiology.
– Pharmacy Practice . (Pharmaceutical practices).
Admission Requirements:
– Obtaining of the Sudan Secondary School Certificate with pass or any other equivalent certificate.
–Fulfilment of the general admission requirements and a percentage out of seven subjects including : Arabic language, Religion, English language, Additional Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Faculty of Medical Laboratories
It awards the Bachelor degree with honours in Medical Laboratories ( four years-8 semesters) in two of these specializations:
– Microbiology.
–Haematology.
– Parasitology.
–Diseased tissue.
–Clinical Chemistry.
Admission Requirements:
–Obtaining of the Sudan Secondary School Certificate with pass or any other equivalent certificate.
–Fulfilment of the general admission requirements and a percentage out of seven subjects including : Arabic language, Religion, English language, Additional Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
- Faculty of Nursing
It awards General Bachelor Degree in Nursing in four years- 8academic semesters according to the above admission requirements.
- Faculty of Engineering
It awards the Bachelor degree with honours in Engineering in five years- 10semesters in one of the followings:
–Electrical Engineering (Control-Capacity)
–Civil Engineering ,
–Mechanical Engineering .
Admission Requirements

–Fulfilment of the general admission requirements and a percentage out of seven subjects including : Arabic language, Religion, English language, Additional Maths, Physics, Chemistry and any computer sciences or engineering field.
Second Direct Admission Required Seven Subjects are:
–Arabic language, English language, Religion, Additional Maths, Physics, Chemistry and any of Computer Sciences, Engineering Sciences or Biology.
- Faculty of Science
It awards the Bachelor Degree with honours in four years- 8semesters in one of the following:
–Applied Mathematics.
–Statistics.
Same admission requirements.
–The subjects required are :
Arabic language, English language, Religion-Additional Math-Physics, Chemistry and any
Computer Sciences, Engineering Sciences or Biology).
- Faculty of Computer Science
The faculty awards the Bachelor Degree with honours in four years- 8 semesters in one of the following:
–Information Technology .
– Information Systems.
–Software Engineering.
–Same admission requirements.
– The seven required subjects for Information Technology and Information Systems are as follows:
–For the scientific field:
Arabic language, English language, Religion Additional Maths, Physics, Chemistry, or Biology, Computer Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Family Sciences, Animal& Agricultural Production, Arts& Design.
–For Literary field
Arabic language, English language, Religion, Basic Math, Geography& Environmental
Studies, History or any other Islamic Studies, Advanced Arabic language, Commercial
Sciences, Military Sciences and Design & Arts.
–Software Engineering :
The required seven subjects are Arabic language, Religion, English language, Additional Maths, Physics, Chemistry and any one of Computer Sciences , Engineering Sciences or Biology.
- Faculty of Media Technologies
It awards the Bachelor Degree with honours in four years- 8semesters in one of the following:
–Press &Electronic Publishing (E-Publishing )
–Public Relations& Advertising
–Broadcasting ( radio and T.V)
–Tourism & Developmental Advertising .
Admission requirements are the same as above except with the seven subjects as follows.
–The Scientific field subjects :
Arabic language, Religion, English language, Additional Maths, Physics, Chemistry and one of any Biology, Computer Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Family Sciences, Animal & Agricultural Production or Arts & Design.
–The literary field subjects are :
Arabic language, Religion, English language, Basic Math, Geography&
Environmental Studies, History or any one of Islamic Studies, Advanced Arabic
language, Commercial Studies, Military Studies, and Arts &Design)
- Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences
This faculty awards Bachelor Degree with honours in four years- 8 semesters in one of the following:
–Management.
–Economics.
–Accounting.
Admission requirements are the same except the seven subjects as follows:
–The subjects of the Scientific field :
Arabic language, Religion, English language, Additional Math, Physics, Chemistry and one of Biology, or Computer Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Family Sciences, Animal & Agricultural Production-Arts & Design.
–The literary field subjects are :
Arabic language, Religion, English language, Basic Math, Geography& Environmental Studies, History or any one of Islamic Studies, Advanced Arabic language, Commercial Studies, Military Studies and Arts & Design.
